Here are some of the other baseball related sites that I find have useful information. Check them out!
3P Sports is providing biomechanical evaluations and conditioning programs for pitchers. They use a 14 point video analysis to identify weaknesses in a pitcher's mechanics that increase the risk on injury and reduce performance. You do the video at your local field, as opposed to going to ASMI in Birmingham, and they do the analysis and return it to you via a personalized internet portal. We are in the process of negotiating a year-long study with 3P Sports that will allow youth pitchers to get feedback throughout the year and track improvements in performance. Check out the standard program on the 3P Sports website and if you are interested in learning more about the study, please call 321-961-5300 and leave your contact details, age of pitcher, and where you live.

Check out www.chrisoleary.com for interesting insight into the physics of hitting and pitching. The low motion videos of players like Cliff Lee and Albert Pujols are very effective in showing proper pitching and hitting mechanics. The pitching videos show different arm angles and the O'Leary gives his assessment of the injury risk with this type of delivery. Some very cool stuff!
